At present AITAM has been working in the Following Projects inaddition to the projects under Government mentioned above; Treatment Care and Rehabilitation of Physically Challenged Children and adult in Srinagar Upzilla Water and Sanitation program In Lowhajong and Srinagar upzilla. The shallow Tube wells of these areas are contaminated with Arsenic, There are lot of family members, especially the adolescents and adults men and women are suffering from Arsenicosis. There is no treatment of Arsenicosis, but a disease that cause death after long suffering, Arsenicosis may end to cancer among many patients. Prevention of Reproductive tract Infection and sexually transmitted disease including HIV/AIDS- the project is supported by Bread for the World. AITAM covers 2500 Families under this project. Awareness development, Promotion of health, Treatment and care of the maternal diseases including TRI/STI,HIV/AIDS. The beneficiaries are cmainly th Adolscent who are going to school and also the school dropped out adolescent, mothers, male adult and also the women with maternal disease after their Reproductive age.
